Standard shrink film is airtight. For some products, that is a problem. Perforated shrink film solves it.

What Is Perforated Shrink Film?

Perforated film has tiny holes punched in a controlled pattern. These holes let air escape during shrinking and allow moisture to vent after packaging.

When You Need Perforated Film

Products that release moisture:

  • Fresh produce and vegetables
  • Bread and baked goods
  • Products packed while still warm

Products prone to condensation:

  • Cold drinks moving into warm environments
  • Products shipped in containers with temperature changes
  • Items that need to “breathe”

Benefits

  • Prevents condensation inside the pack
  • Reduces fogging and moisture buildup
  • Improves shrink appearance on difficult products
  • Controls hole size and spacing for your application

Custom Options

  • Hole size: customized to your product
  • Hole spacing: uniform or staggered
  • Hole position: edges or full web
